Nuno Sereno

Nuno Sereno has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nuno is currently employed at Victrex as an Application Development Manager since July 2021. Prior to this, Nuno worked at Invibio from 2008 to 2021, holding different positions such as R&D Head of Horizon 1 and BAU, Dental Technology Manager, Segment Technology Manager, and Product Development Project Manager. Before joining Invibio, Nuno was a Research Fellow at The University of Nottingham from 2005 to 2008 and a Research Technician at the same university in 2003. Nuno also worked as a Process Control Engineer at Portucel Viana S.A. in 2002 and as a Technical Researcher at Corporação Industrial do Norte (CIN) in 2001.

Nuno Sereno completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Food Science from the University of Nottingham during the period of 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc. (Licenciatura) with Honors in Chemical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto in 2001. In addition to their formal education, Nuno Sereno has also obtained a certification in "Preparing to Lead: Developing Mental Toughness in Yourself" from LinkedIn, which was obtained in November 2020.
