Omar Romero Sahagún

Omar Romero Sahagún is an experienced Hardware Engineer currently employed at Victron Energy since October 2019, focusing on improving electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance in DC-DC buck converters and modifying PCB layouts using Eagle. Prior experience includes roles as a Hardware Designer at TMC, Electric Drives Systems Engineer at John Deere, and Electric Hardware Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed the analysis and integration of electric drive systems for off-road vehicles and modeling battery dynamics. In addition, Omar served as a Remote Laboratories Specialist at Tecnológico de Monterrey, designing and testing remote laboratories, and held positions as a teaching assistant and project assistant during academic tenure. Education includes a Master of Science in Energetic Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, along with international experience at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
