Evgeny Fedorov

Evgeny Fedorov is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software and video codec development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Lead Engineer at VICUESOFT Ltd since June 2017, Evgeny previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Intel Corporation from January 2016 to May 2017, where contributions included the adoption of Linux video acceleration graphics stack. Prior to that, Evgeny worked at MainConcept from November 2007 to December 2015, significantly contributing to the development of an award-winning H.265/HEVC encoder and various video codecs across multiple platforms. Early career experience includes an internship as an Engineering Technician at the Russian Federal Nuclear Center in 2009, focused on optical image recognition algorithms. Evgeny holds an Engineer degree in Computer Science from Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics, earned between 2006 and 2011.
