Ed Melendez

Ed Melendez is the AVP at Vida Health. Ed has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on payer partnerships, market access, and go-to-market strategies. Prior to joining Vida Health, Ed was the Corporate Account Director, Market Access at Pear Therapeutics, where they were responsible for developing payer partnership strategy and execution in a variety of contexts, including relationships with commercial, government, and self-funded payers.

Ed has also held senior positions at Livongo and TMO Consulting, where they worked with healthcare providers to improve outcomes and reduce costs. In their role as Managing Director at Sense Corp, Ed advised clients on how to navigate the ever-changing healthcare landscape.

Ed is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University.

Ed Melendez has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Acton School of Business, where they specialized in entrepreneurship. Ed is also a Fellow of the Loyola University Institute of Politics. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) from the University of New Orleans in Language and Culture, and a degree in Religious Studies/Classical Languages from The University of New Mexico. Ed is also an accomplished improvisational actor, and has a certification in Improvisational Acting from the Coldtowne Theater Conservatory. In addition to their formal education, Ed has also completed several professional certifications, including LinkedIn's "The Data Science of Healthcare, Medicine, and Public Health", Scrum Alliance's "Certified ScrumMaster", American Red Cross's "First Aid for Opioid Overdoses", and National Council for Behavioral Health's "Mental Health First Aid".
