Eugene Boateng

Eugene Boateng is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in programming and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Computer Programmer Analyst at Algoma Steel Inc. since October 2019, Eugene has also co-founded Vidaah Veterinary Teletriage in January 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Computer Programmer Analyst at McDougall Energy Inc. from May 2016 to September 2019, where responsibilities involved developing web and winform applications, project leadership, and stakeholder communication. Earlier positions range from Junior Developer at the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre to customer service roles at Future Shop and Best Buy Canada, demonstrating a well-rounded skill set in both technical and client-facing capacities. Eugene holds a 1-Year Diploma in Computer Programming Analyst and a 2-Year Diploma in Computer Programming from Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology, completed between 2012 and 2015.
