Jordi Vilanova i Buxó has extensive experience in various roles and industries. Jordi began their career as a Project Manager Trainee at Grupo AUNA. Innovation Centre in 2004. From there, they worked as a Research Engineer at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) for a year, focusing on telepresence systems and publishing their findings at a prestigious conference.

In 2005, Jordi joined Accenture España as an Analyst in Management Consulting and later became a Consultant. Jordi advised top-tier clients in sectors such as Retail, Banking, Products, and Consumer Goods, conducting strategic consulting projects and providing expertise in areas such as strategic analysis, planning, supply chain assessment, and change management.

In 2009, Jordi pursued an MBA at ESADE Business School, which they completed in 2011. Jordi then joined Banco Santander as the Customer Strategy Director at their headquarters until 2015.

At Deloitte Digital, Jordi worked as a Manager from 2015 to 2017 before being promoted to Senior Manager, a role they held until 2019. During their time at Deloitte Digital, they played a key role in managing and leading projects.

Since 2019, Jordi Vilanova i Buxó has been working at VidaCaixa. Initially, they served as the Multichannel Customer Development Area Director and later became the Channel and Customer Experience Director.

Throughout their career, Jordi has demonstrated expertise in customer strategy, multichannel customer development, customer experience, and management consulting. Jordi has a strong background in strategic planning, change management, and supply chain assessment.

Jordi Vilanova i Buxó has a diverse education history. In 1998-2004, they studied Telecommunications Engineering at Universitat Ramon Llull - Enginyeria La Salle. In 2009-2011, they pursued a Full Time MBA at Esade, specializing in Management Education. Jordi also completed a Full Time MBA program at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business in 2010. Jordi continued to enhance their skills with various programs, including an update course in Data Privacy at the Data Privacy Institute (DPI) - Asociación española para el fomento de la seguridad de la información (ISMS Forum) in 2023, Business Analytics for Leaders at IMD in 2023, and Leadership Skills for the Digital Age at IMD in 2022. Jordi also attended programs like Next Level Insurance Innovation at the University of St.Gallen in 2022, Comunicar con eficacia y persuasión at IESE Business School in 2021, and Grup CaixaBank - Self-Paced Digital Disruption Program at IMD in 2021. Additionally, Jordi completed a specialization course in Protection of Data (CEPD) at the Data Privacy Institute (DPI) - Asociación española para el fomento de la seguridad de la información (ISMS Forum) from 2020-2021.
