Raúl Merino

Raúl Merino is a highly experienced professional in the field of finance and risk management, currently serving as a Senior Risk Quant at VidaCaixa since June 2008, where diverse project involvement has enhanced skills across various areas. Raúl has also contributed to education as an Adjunct Professor of International Finance at UPF Barcelona School of Management since May 2022, and previously held the position of Associate Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra - Barcelona, focusing on financial derivatives and risk management from 2017 to 2023. Raúl's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Financial Mathematics from Universitat de Barcelona, along with advanced degrees in Quantitative Economics and Applied Mathematics to Financial Derivatives, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
