Lisa Dziko

Lisa Dziko is currently an account manager at Video Growth Systems. Prior to this, they worked as an events marketing intern at Discovery Education from June 2021 to August 2021. In this role, they shadowed a senior leader of learning communities, assisted in the planning of the DEN Summer Institute, and facilitated sessions with 9-12 classroom educators. Lisa also created an event report summarizing the DEN Summer Institute.

Before their role at Discovery Education, Lisa was a marketing manager at Oxit from May 2021 to November 2021. In this role, they created social media content that was posted on the company platform pages, growing the following rate 3x from the start of their position. Lisa also organized and planned events for Oxit to exhibit/sponsor/attend locally and nationally. Additionally, they branded Oxit internally in terms of clothing, logo designs, and marketing documents (i.e presentations), as well as externally from the perspective of partnering companies and organizations (i.e landing pages).

Lisa has also held positions as a graduate hall advisor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from July 2020 to May 2021, and as a customer service agent at Universal Commercial Trade and Marketing Group LLC from August 2018 to July 2020.

Lisa Dziko received their Master of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and their Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching from Bowling Green State University.
