Alex Bronstein

Alex Bronstein has a diverse work experience in various positions and companies. Alex is currently serving as a Professor of Computer Science and holds the Dan Broida Academic Chair and the position of Vice Dean for Industrial Liaisons at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology since September 2018. Previously, they worked as an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Head of the Center for Intelligent Systems at Technion from March 2016 to August 2018.

In 2019, Alex co-founded Sibylla AI and assumed the role of Chief Scientist. Alex is currently actively involved in the company. Similarly, they joined AKA FOODS in August 2021 as the Chief Magician.

During their career, Alex also worked at companies like Embryonics, Quris, Videocites, BBK Technologies, and Intel Corporation. At Intel, they served as a Principal Engineer, contributing to the development of the Intel RealSense cameras after the acquisition of Invision by Intel. Alex'stenure at Intel lasted from January 2012 to November 2021.

In the academic sphere, Alex has held positions at Tel Aviv University and Duke University. Alex worked as an Adjunct Professor of Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University from March 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they were an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering from an unknown start date until March 2016. Additionally, they served as a Visiting Professor at Duke University from October 2013 to an unknown end date.

Alex Bronstein has a strong education background with a focus on computer science and electrical engineering. From 2005 to 2007, Alex pursued a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2005, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution. Alex's undergraduate studies also took place at the Technion, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from 1998 to 2002. As for their early education, Alex attended Tihon Kiryat Haim from 1993 to 1998, although it is unclear if they obtained any degrees or pursued a specific field of study during that time.
