Jason Rankin

Jason Rankin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jason started their career in 2007 at Skerries Community Centre, where they served as a Summer Camp Leader for seven years. In 2013, they took on a voluntary role as Assistant Director of Finance & Fundraising at the Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre.

In 2014, Rankin worked at The Black Bull Inn as a Bar Back for a few months before transitioning to Menzies Distribution as a Logistics Officer. At Menzies, they worked from 2015 to 2017.

Following this, Rankin joined Grant Thornton Ireland in 2017 as an Account Technician OAS, and later became a Part Qualified Accountant OAS in 2019. Jason remained in this role until their recent move to VideoElephant in 2023, where they are currently employed as a Part Qualified Accountant.

Jason Rankin began their education at St. Mary's Diocesan School in Drogheda, where they completed their Leaving Certificate in 2011. Jason then enrolled at Dundalk Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Business degree in Event Management in 2014. Continuing their education at the same institution, they went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Event Management in 2015. Afterward, from 2017 to 2019, they attended Coláiste Íde College of Further Education, where they completed a degree in Account Technician, specializing in Accounting Technology/Technician and Bookkeeping. Currently, Jason is pursuing an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Qualification (ACCA) in Accounting, starting in 2019. It should be noted that no information was provided regarding additional certifications or the year obtained for a Full Irish Driving License.
