Dave Vishniac

Dave Vishniac has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Dave started their career as a Pierce Media Group Sports Director at the Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communication from June 2007 to May 2009. Dave then worked as an Educator at the Arlington Enrichment Collaborative from August 2010 to June 2012. Additionally, Dave worked as a Home Theater Sales Associate at Best Buy from June 2012 to January 2013 and as an A/V Technician at PSAV from July 2012 to November 2014.

In 2010, Dave joined Arlington Community Media, Inc as a Director, Producer, and Videographer. Dave served in this role until November 2015, working on various projects including in-studio shows, field productions, high school sports broadcasts, and town government meetings. From June 2009 to March 2017, Dave worked as a Steadicam Operator and Co-Producer for The Steve Katsos Show, operating the Steadicam rig and helping organize the production of each episode.

Dave also has experience as a Freelancer in live television production with various sports media outlets, including ESPN, FOX, CBS, Comcast SportsNet, etc. Dave mainly worked in the video department but also assisted the audio crew when needed. Additionally, Dave served as a Regional Referee for the United States Soccer Federation from April 2014 onwards.

From August 2011, Dave worked at Hancock United Church of Christ as a Studio Supervisor, creating and editing programming for Hancock Church Television and LexMedia. Dave managed all studio operations, recruited, trained, scheduled, and supervised volunteer studio workers, and maintained studio equipment. Dave also created formal proposals for equipment enhancements and upgrades.

Most recently, Dave held the position of a Manager of ReadyCam Operations at VideoLink LLC. Dave'sresponsibilities included planning and installing ReadyCam systems in their Newton office and customer facilities, performing equipment testing, IP network testing, equipment installation and commissioning, maintenance and support for existing customers, and supporting live-shot TV hits. Dave also provided support for other projects as needed and maintained the internal department knowledge database and trouble ticket system. Dave possesses extensive experience with various equipment brands such as AJA, Biamp, Blackmagic, Cisco, Extron, Middle Atlantic, Panasonic, PreSonus, PrompterPeople, Samsung, Sennheiser, Shure, Sony, and Symetrix.

Dave Vishniac attended Franklin Pierce University from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Mass Communications with a focus on Journalism and Sports Broadcasting. In April 2020, they obtained an AVIXA-Recognized AV Technologist certification from AVIXA.
