Deniz Cicek

Deniz Cicek Elitez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

Starting in 2013, Deniz worked as an Electronic Design Engineer at Ortana for three years.

In 2016, Deniz joined Aselsan as a System Design Engineer, where they developed novel deep learning algorithms for the recognition of vehicles.

In 2017, Deniz moved on to work as a Research Scientist at Cortexica Vision Systems, where they focused on building neural networks for object detection. Their responsibilities included both cutting edge research and creating commercially viable products for clients such as GSK, Hammerson, John Lewis, and Westfield Shopping Centre.

In 2019, Deniz became a part of Entrepreneur First as an LD12 Cohort Member. Entrepreneur First funds individuals and helps them build co-founding teams, develop ideas, and accelerate them to secure funding from renowned investors.

During 2019, Deniz also co-founded Verchable, a company where they assumed the role of Co-founder and CTO. Deniz played a key role in the company until May 2021.

In 2020, Deniz was a part of the Fall 2020 Cohort at Berkeley SkyDeck.

Currently, Deniz is the Co-Founder and CEO of Videolity, a position they have held since June 2021.

Deniz Cicek Elitez completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Orta Dogu Teknik Universitesi (Middle East Technical University) from 2007 to 2012. Deniz then went on to pursue a Master's degree in the same field at the same university starting in 2016, and their education in this program is ongoing.
