Niki Shakrai has extensive experience in web development and design. Niki began their career as a Computer Technician at Portland State University, where they provided hardware and software support for a user base of 15,000 students. Niki then worked as a Graphic Artist at Shirtworks Ltd, producing camera-ready artwork for screen printing.

In 2001, Niki joined Registration Resources as a Web Developer, where they designed and developed online registration programs and coordinated with programmers. Niki also installed and customized products for clients and delivered training.

Niki then worked as a Contract Designer at Presto Studios, creating promotional desktop themes for the game Myst3. Niki achieved a high download count and approval rating for the themes.

From 2005 to 2011, Niki held various roles as a Front-End Web Developer for different companies. Niki worked at Luxury Real Estate, assisting in the design and production of luxury real estate websites. Niki implemented design comps using XHTML and CSS and led efforts to implement blog technology into standard design and hosting packages.

Niki also worked as a contractor for Aquent, taking on short-term web production jobs. Niki was a Front-End Web Developer for Pop Art, Inc., where they produced large-scale websites and collaborated closely with designers and programmers. Niki advocated for web standards to improve search engine optimization and accessibility.

At R2C Group, Niki worked as a Web Developer, focusing on CSS and XHTML production for a range of web projects. Niki used jQuery to enhance functionality and demonstrated flexibility and patience.

Prior to that, Niki was a Front-End Web Developer at Metal Toad Media, creating standards-compliant sites for various clients, including Limewire and the Emmys. Niki utilized CSS3, XHTML/HTML5, and jQuery in their work and promoted social media as a marketing tool.

Currently, Niki is a Front-End Web Developer at Viderity Inc.

Niki Shakrai attended Portland State University from 1996 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design. The field of study Niki concentrated on during this time was Graphic Design.
