Jinling Hou

Jinling Hou has five years of work experience. In 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, where they gathered, arranged, and corrected research data to create representative graphs and charts highlighting results for presentations. In 2020, they held two roles: an Administrative Assistant at Bluekey Education, where they responded to emails and other correspondence to facilitate communication and enhance business processes, and a Marketing Assistant at Victoria College, where they developed and updated spreadsheets and databases to track, analyze and report on performance and sales data. In 2021, they worked as a Marketing Specialist at One Healing Space, where they planned marketing initiatives and leveraged referral networks to promote business development, and developed technical and non-technical marketing presentations, public relations campaigns, articles, and newsletters. Currently, they are a Junior Product Designer at vidIQ.

Jinling Hou obtained a Bachelor's degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Yunnan Normal University between 2013 and 2017. Jinling then pursued a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics at the University of Birmingham from 2017 to 2018. From 2019 to 2021, they completed their Master's degree in curriculum studies and teacher development at the University of Toronto. Currently, they are enrolled in a UX/UI Design Certificate program at CareerFoundry.
