Sunera Samaranayake

Sunera Samaranayake is a skilled civil engineer with extensive experience in project and contract management. Currently serving as Manager of Projects & Contracts at Vidullanka PLC since October 2018, Sunera previously held roles as Senior Civil Engineer and Civil Engineer focused on overseeing project execution and contractual obligations. With a track record of managing international projects, including feasibility studies in Zambia and involvement in multiple hydropower projects, Sunera also gained experience as a Cost Engineer at Renardet S.A. and as a Graduate Engineer at SMEC. Sunera's early career includes training at Access Engineering PLC, Maga Engineering, and the International Construction Consortium. Sunera holds a Master’s degree in Construction Engineering and Infrastructure Management, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, both from the Asian Institute of Technology.
