IJsbrand Schouten

Ijsbrand Schouten is the current Chairman at VieCuri Medisch Centrum. IJsbrand has also previously held the position of Lid Raad van Bestuur at Cicero Zorggroep from January 2010 to December 2016. Cicero Zorggroep is a leading and innovative Dutch company with a strong commitment to social responsibility. Cicero supports the elderly and people with disabilities in the areas of housing, welfare, and healthcare. With over 1800 employees, 700 volunteers, and an annual budget of €100 million, Cicero strives to make a difference in the lives of those they serve.

Prior to their work at Cicero Zorggroep, Ijsbrand Schouten was the CFO at Research International from January 2008 to December 2009. IJsbrand was responsible for finance, IT, and facilities during their time there. Research International Nederland merged with TNS NIPO in August 2009.

From 2003 to 2007, Ijsbrand Schouten was the Managing Director of Vattenfall, the Dutch subsidiary of Vattenfall AB in Sweden. As Managing Director, they were responsible for the company's overall performance.

Ijsbrand Schouten has also worked as an Interim Manager for various companies from September 2000 to January 2003. In this role, they were responsible for providing temporary management solutions for companies in need.

Finally, Ijsbrand Schouten was Group Controller at Exact from June 1994 to August 2000. In this role, they were responsible for the financial planning and control of the Exact Group.

Schouten studied for a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Administration at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, but did not complete the degree. IJsbrand then studied for a Field: School of Accountancy & Controlling at Nyenrode Business University, but did not complete this program either. IJsbrand did, however, complete an Advanced Management Program at Nyenrode Business University.
