Marius Gabriel Bucur has extensive work experience in various senior roles in different industries. Marius Gabriel currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Viega Holding GmbH & Co. KG, where they lead strategy, sustainability, decarbonization, and M&A projects, working closely with shareholders, C-level executives, and board members.
Prior to their current role, Marius held several senior director positions at thyssenkrupp. Marius Gabriel led the corporate strategy and transformation group performance programs, overseeing turnaround, restructuring, and transformation projects in the specialty steel and automotive segments. Marius Gabriel was also responsible for the global business services strategy development and implementation for Finance & Accounting, HR, Real Estate, IT, and Purchasing. Additionally, Marius designed and planned a new corporate function called "Finance Transformation & Digitalization" for the planned tk Industrials group.
Before joining thyssenkrupp, Marius worked at Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland, where they served as a senior engineer and operations manager, responsible for production projects, technical direction, and system solutions for program production, broadcast, and digital operations.
Marius Gabriel also gained experience at WDR as a senior engineer and operations manager, leading broadcasting and production projects and managing live productions, recordings, and broadcasts for news, arts, and entertainment.
In addition, Marius worked at Bauer Studios as an executive producer and engineer/operations manager, focusing on production and mastering.
