Michael Vogel

Michael Vogel is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in international tax strategy and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Director of Tax at Viega LLC since July 2019, Vogel previously held the position of Tax Director at Gates Corporation from 2009 to 2018, where responsibilities included developing the global tax department, overseeing transfer pricing policies, and conducting due diligence for M&A activities. Prior experience includes roles as International Tax Manager at International Game Technology, where Vogel established the International Tax Department, and various positions at Sun Microsystems focused on compliance and transfer pricing. Michael Vogel holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State University and a Master's in Tax from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business.
