Gary McCann

Gary McCann is a professional designer with extensive experience in set and costume design for opera and theatre. Currently employed at Glyndebourne and Teatro La Fenice, Gary is involved in projects including the inaugural performance of Benjamin Britten's PETER GRIMES at La Fenice. Other notable positions include designer for DER FREISCHÜTZ at Wiener Staatsoper and various productions for Bill Kenwright Ltd, including LA CAGE AUX FOLLES and WAR OF THE WORLDS. Gary has also contributed to multiple prestigious organizations such as Nederlandse Reisopera, Opera Philadelphia, The Santa Fe Opera, and the Dallas Opera. A graduate of Nottingham Trent University with a BA Hons in Theatre Design, Gary has demonstrated a commitment to high-quality stagecraft across a diverse range of productions.
