Stephanie Houtzeel

Stephanie Houtzeel is a distinguished principal artist with the Wiener Staatsoper and Vienna State Opera since September 2010, performing notable roles such as Octavian, Dorabella, and Komponist. Houtzeel has also contributed as a guest artist at various prestigious institutions, including the Bayreuther Festspiele GmbH, Opera National de Paris, and Semperoper. Additionally, Houtzeel served as voice faculty and conducted masterclasses at the Vienna Summer Music Festival. With a solid educational foundation from The Juilliard School, where a Master's degree in Voice and Opera was obtained, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from Middlebury College, Houtzeel has made significant contributions to the operatic landscape.
