Mr. An Thanh Son is a Lawyer with over 25 years of experience in finance - banking sector. He was elected to Deputy CEO cum General Counsel in August 2013.
During his over 15 years working at VIB, Mr. Son held a range of positions, such as: Director of the BOD, CEO, Permanent Deputy CEO, Head of Branch and Services, Assistant to the CEO, Chair of VIBAMC. Before joining VIB, he had had 10 years working for Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank through different roles, such as: Chief of staff, Head of Organization and Personnel, and Marketing officer.
He obtained a Master of International Business Administration, a Bachelor of Economic Law from Hanoi Law University, and Engineer of Marine Transportation Economics from Maritime University of Vietnam.
