Ngoc Vuong

Ngoc Vuong began their work experience in 2020 as an Information Technology Service Desk intern at ITStarVN, where they had responsibilities such as making plans, deploying SIEM systems, and researching and deploying NSM Grafana and Prometheus systems.

In 2021, Ngoc Vuong transitioned to become a Cyber Security Analyst at CMC Saigon Technology & Solution (CMC TSSG). In this role, they gained experience in security monitoring, using SIEM/SOAR tools like HELK, Security Onion, and The Hive, managing threat intelligence platforms with MISP, and utilizing EDR software from McAfee and Trend Micro. Their daily tasks included analyzing, investigating, and resolving security alerts, implementing remediation measures, and reporting on a weekly basis. They also handled routine security breaches and incidents.

Most recently, in 2022, Ngoc Vuong joined Vietnam International Bank (VIB) as a SOC Analyst, with the exact date not specified.

Ngoc Vuong obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from FPT University, where they studied from 2017 to 2021. Ngoc has also obtained several certifications, including the Certified AppSec Practitioner (CAP) from The SecOps Group in February 2023 and the (ISC)² Candidate certification in October 2022. Ngoc also holds various certifications and ranks from Microsoft, such as the Kusto Detective Agency - S2E6 Badge, New Kusto Detective!, and several Kusto Detective ranks. Additionally, they have the Blue Team Level 1 (BTL1) certification from Security Blue Team and the IBM Certified Associate Analyst - IBM QRadar SIEM V7.3.2 certification from IBM, both obtained in 2022. In March 2022, Ngoc earned the Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate certification.
