Nguyen Hoang Hai

Nguyen Hoang Hai has a diverse work experience in the banking and telecommunications industries. Nguyen Hoang is currently the Head of Retail Banking cum Head of Operating Model Transformation at Vietnam International Bank (VIB) - Ngân Hàng Quốc Tế since July 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Enterprise Services and Head of Operating Model Transformation at VIB since July 2013.

Before joining VIB, Nguyen Hoang Hai worked as the Strategic Director and CMO at GTEL Mobile JSC from April 2012 to November 2012. At GTEL Mobile JSC, they were responsible for defining and setting up business strategies and managing the commercial division. Nguyen Hoang also has experience as the COO at GTEL Mobile JSC (Beeline VN) from February 2008 to March 2012, where they managed procurement, logistics, and the company's commercial strategy.

Nguyen Hoang Hai started their career as an Engineering Leader at Gtel Corporation in 2008 and later worked as an Engineering Manager at Millicom from 1996 to 2006. Nguyen Hoang began their professional journey as a Transmission System Engineer at The Research Institute of Posts and Telecommunications in 1993.

Nguyen Hoang Hai earned a Master's degree in Telecommunication from Hanoi National University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993.
