Angela Cao

Angela Cao is a dedicated 4th-Grade Teacher currently employed at Boston Public Schools since August 2024. With a rich background in educational leadership, Angela has served as Chapter President and Youth Leader of the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement since 2019, focusing on youth education and community service. Angela participated in the Donovan Urban Teaching Scholar Program at Boston College Lynch School, teaching in an inclusion class. Previous teaching experiences include a 4th Grade Teacher role at Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy and a Teaching Fellow at Generation Teach, where Angela fostered student growth in reading and math. Angela holds a Master of Education from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College, where significant research was conducted on the Model Minority Myth’s effects on Asian American adolescents. With a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Angela has also led initiatives supporting student athletes and first-generation college students.
