Ana de MacEdo

Ana de Macedo is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in symbolism and visual anthropology, as well as social media marketing, branding, art photography, and videography. Currently serving as a Concept Designer for the multimedia exhibition project with Portuguese abstract expressionist Joana Cagido, Ana has also worked as a Communication Designer for the Lisbon-based artist Susana Cannas and a Photographer and Digital Artist for ViewBug and Saatchi Art, respectively. With a background in creative writing and multilingual translation services, Ana has contributed to various projects, including serving as an Independent Fiction Writer. Ana holds advanced degrees in visual communication and anthropology of visual cultures, complemented by specialized training in filmmaking and web journalism. The combination of art, design, and cultural anthropology informs Ana’s work across numerous roles and projects since 2000.
