Maria Elena Gutierrez has served as the CEO and Executive Director of VIEW Conference and VIEWFest since October 2004. Under Maria Elena Gutierrez's leadership, VIEWFest has established itself as an international festival showcasing digital cinema, including workshops aimed at schools and professionals, and a diverse selection of global animation. Maria Elena Gutierrez also directs VIEW Conference, Italy's premier event focused on Computer Graphics, Interactive Techniques, Digital Cinema, Medical Imaging, 3D Animation, Gaming, and VFX, with a particular emphasis on the intersection of real and digital worlds. Maria Elena Gutierrez holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University.
