Priyanka Giri has a diverse and extensive work experience. Priyanka began their career as a Trainee at the Forest Research Institute in 2008. Priyanka then worked as a Research Scholar at G. B. Pant University Of Agriculture & Technology, conducting research in the field of signal transduction and disease resistance. During their time there, they published more than 20 research papers in Indian and international peer-reviewed journals.

In 2013, they joined Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited as an Executive Trainee, where they gained experience in agri-biotechnology, specifically in tissue culture production of various plant species. Priyanka also worked on developing commercial protocols for crops such as sugarcane, parval, and dahlia.
