Priyanka Giri

Priyanka Giri has a diverse and extensive work experience. Priyanka began their career as a Trainee at the Forest Research Institute in 2008. Priyanka then worked as a Research Scholar at G. B. Pant University Of Agriculture & Technology, conducting research in the field of signal transduction and disease resistance. During their time there, they published more than 20 research papers in Indian and international peer-reviewed journals.

In 2013, they joined Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited as an Executive Trainee, where they gained experience in agri-biotechnology, specifically in tissue culture production of various plant species. Priyanka also worked on developing commercial protocols for crops such as sugarcane, parval, and dahlia.

Priyanka then progressed to the role of Deputy Manager at the same company, where they oversaw the start-to-end business operations of a 4 million capacity tissue culture unit. Priyanka was responsible for planning, budgeting, and executing sales strategies for various crops. Priyanka also collaborated with research organizations to develop commercial protocols for high-value crops like date palm and pomegranate.

In 2019, Priyanka joined GSFC Agrotech Limited as a Manager, where they handled retail and supply chain solutions heavily dependent on ERP.
