Thomas Plein

Thomas Plein has extensive experience in trading and investment, currently serving at Bank of America Merrill Lynch since June 2007 with roles including EGB Trading, eTrading for European Rates, EUR Inflation Trading, and various strategic trading positions in global asset resolution and structured credit trading. Thomas leads multiple responsibilities in algorithmic trading and market making, with significant contributions to credit exposure and hedging strategies across diverse assets. In addition to this extensive trading background, Thomas is an active investor and member of several venture capital initiatives, including Blue Lake VC, Alma Angels, and the Green Angel Syndicate, as well as holding positions in various startups like Piclo and Gravel AI. An alumnus of the University of Mannheim, Thomas holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management.
