Martin Muehlemann

Martin Muehlemann's work experience includes multiple roles in various companies.

Martin began their career in 1992 as an IT Specialist at Amt für Informatik und Organisation des Kantons Solothurn. From 1995 to 1998, they worked as an IT System Engineer at System Connect AG.

In 1998, they joined Omya as a Lotus Domino-Administrator, where they were responsible for various tasks such as server administration, project management, and support. Martin stayed with Omya until 2005.

After that, they worked as a Lotus Domino Administrator at Triumph International for a year, and then as a Server & Desktop Administrator at Calida AG from 2006 to 2007.

In 2007, they joined LafargeHolcim as a Messaging & Collaboration Operations Specialist/Architect. Martin held this position for over 12 years until 2020.

From 2013 to 2020, Martin Muehlemann worked as Head of Finance & IT at Schweizerischer Helikopterverband (SHeV).

Since 2017, Martin Muehlemann has been working at ForeFlight as an Electronic Flightbag Test Engineer.

Finally, in 2020, they started working at Vigier Holding AG as the Head of IT Project- and Service Management.

Martin Muehlemann's education history is as follows:

Martin Muehlemann began their education at ASCOM, where they studied as an Elektroniker from 1989 to 1992. Martin then attended Amt für Informatik Solothurn, where they earned a degree in Informatik-Fachmann from 1993 to 1995. Following this, they went on to study at the Federal Office of Civil Aviation FOCA, specializing in Lufttransport. Martin obtained the Flughelfer für Personentransporte Level 2.1 degree in 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Martin Muehlemann has acquired various certifications. Martin obtained the OS/2 System Engineer certification in 1995 from IBM. In 2006, they earned the Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL) and the Lotus Domino Certified System Administrator certification, both from IBM. In 2008, they received the IBM Lotus Certified Sametime Systems Administrator 8 certification. Continuing their professional development, Martin obtained the Google Apps Deployment Specialist certification from Google in 2013. In the same year, they also earned the Helicopter Marshaller certification from the Bundesamt für Zivilluftfahrt.

Martin Muehlemann has pursued further certifications in recent years as well. In 2019, they obtained the Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administration Expert certification from Microsoft. Martin then completed a course on "Bereit zur Führung?" through LinkedIn in 2020. In 2022, they attended a Führungsschulung Basiskompetenzen program offered by Focus Personal- und Kaderschulung GmbH. Lastly, in 2023, Martin completed a Praxisbeszogenes Projektmanagement program at SPOL AG.
