Paul Boykin

Paul Boykin is the Chief Information Officer of Vigilant Health and joined the company at its founding. Mr. Boykin is the author of Vigilant Health’s core “operating system” software and IT support for the multi-clinic organization. In this role, he developed and implemented a web-based application (ASP .NET, MySQL, jQuery, JavaScript) to integrate electronic health records (EHR), practice management software (PM), medical claims, and operations data into a streamlined decision support tool.

Prior to joining Vigilant Health, he served as Director of Information Systems for Diabetes Care Group, a predecessor of Vigilant Health. Before Diabetes Care Group, he was Process Engineering Manager for Diversified Technology, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of embedded computer systems. During his 16 years with Diversified Technology, Mr. Boykin utilized web-based and local application architectures to develop shop-floor control and data analysis systems to support continuous process improvement. In addition, he served various roles in manufacturing and manufacturing engineering, including managing capital expenditure projects, new product introductions, and an electronics repair lab. Mr. Boykin received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Mississippi State University.
