Ahmer Zaidi

Ahmer Zaidi has a diverse work experience starting from 2004 until present. In the early years, they worked as a Desktop Support Intern at Advocate Health Care and then as a LAN Analyst Intern at JPMorgan Chase. Ahmer later joined JPMorgan Chase as a Technical/Business Analyst - Associate and eventually became a Techincal Operations Analyst - AVP.

Following their time at JPMorgan Chase, Ahmer joined Archway Technology Partners as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on building and maintaining SQL scripts, indexes, and complex queries. Ahmer also gained experience in Cognos relational data models and provided training to support staff on Cognos Connection and Report Studio.

After Archway, Ahmer worked as a Senior Database Developer at SourceLink, where they led the development of marketing database solutions and provided BI user training. Ahmer also administered the Cognos environment and led the migration to a new version.

Most recently, Ahmer has been working at VigiLanz as a Business Intelligence Lead Developer and is currently serving as the Principal Data Engineer. Further details about their roles at VigiLanz are not provided, but they can be inferred to be in the field of data engineering and business intelligence.

Throughout their career, Ahmer also served as an Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK) Mentor at DePaul University Career Center, where they provided career mentoring and support to students.

Ahmer Zaidi completed a Masters of Science degree in Information Systems with a concentration in Project Management from DePaul University from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Network Technologies from DePaul University from 2004 to 2005. Additionally, Ahmer Zaidi has obtained various certifications related to Python, data engineering, and programming from Coursera, with the most recent certification being "Python for Data Science, AI & Development" in 2022.
