Mohammed Almatar

Field Applications Engineer at Vigilent

Mohammed Almatar has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering field since 2017. Mohammed began as a Lead Male Residential Intern for Purdue Seminar for Top Engineering Prospects in 2017, followed by an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Human Injury Research and Regenerative Technologies lab in the same year. In 2018, they took on a Process Engineering Co-op position at Catalent Pharma Solutions. The following year, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Jain research lab. In 2020, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at suitX. Mohammed is currently a Research Development Engineering Intern at Honda Research Institute USA, Inc. and a Field Applications Engineer at Vigilent.

Mohammed Almatar completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Honors from Purdue University in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2021.
