Sean Siler, DO, MBA, FACEP has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sean is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at VIGILINT, a premier provider of intelligence-driven global health protection, where they have held the position since August 2017. Prior to that, from March 2016 to March 2020, they served as the President of VIGILINT.

In addition to their role at VIGILINT, Sean Siler also has experience in the military. Sean currently serves as the Brigade Commander of the 8th Medical Brigade in the U.S. Army Reserve, starting in August 2022. This brigade consists of various units and provides expeditionary medical support for deployments and homeland missions.

Sean Siler has also been the owner of SilerMed since February 2008, where they potentially practice medicine in their own private medical facility. Sean has served as an advisor at Drake Partners LLC, a management and investment firm specializing in healthcare companies, from May 2015 to the present. Additionally, they have served as an Emergency Physician at the 691st Forward Resuscitative Surgical Detachment-U.S. Army Reserve from December 2021 to August 2022.

Prior to these roles, Sean Siler has had various positions in the military and government. Sean served as the Deputy Command Surgeon at the 3rd Medical Command (Deployment Support) from August 2021 to December 2021. Sean also served as the Hospital Center Commander at the 803rd Hospital Center from April 2018 to August 2021, and as the Battalion Commander at the 94th Combat Support Hospital from June 2016 to April 2018.

Before joining VIGILINT, Sean Siler worked at the US Department of Health and Human Services as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer, National Disaster Medical System, from February 2012 to March 2018. Sean also served as the Command (Division) Surgeon at the US Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (AIRBORNE) from March 2015 to June 2016.

Sean Siler, DO, MBA, FACEP has a diverse educational background that includes degrees in medicine, business administration, and military strategic studies. Sean completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 1990 to 1995. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree at Western University of Health Sciences from 1995 to 1999.

Seeking further specialization, Siler attended the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium, where they completed an Internship in Transitional Medicine from 1999 to 2000. Sean then went on to complete a Residency in Emergency Medicine at the same institution from 2002 to 2005.

In 2010, Siler enrolled in the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, where they obtained an MBA with a concentration in Strategy, finishing their studies in 2012. Sean continued their academic pursuits by attending The United States Army War College from 2018 to 2020, where they earned a Master's degree in Strategic Studies with a focus on Military Strategic Studies.

Siler also holds several certifications, including being board-certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in July 2016. Additionally, they are certified in Incident Command System and has obtained various state medical licenses, including North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Colorado, and Georgia.
