Kathy Lady

Kathy Lady, MBA, serves as the Purchasing Manager at Vigo County School Corporation since July 2019, overseeing all purchasing activities and managing K-12 textbook procurement. With previous experience as a Supply Chain Contract Specialist at IEA Renewable Energy/White Construction and a temporary teaching position at Vigo County School Corporation, Kathy has built a robust career in supply chain management. Prior roles include Purchasing Buyer at Clabber Girl, where Kathy developed supplier relationships and implemented Lean Manufacturing to reduce costs, and Buyer at North American Lighting, managing MRO items and improving purchasing processes across multiple facilities. Starting a tenure at Sony DADC, Kathy held various roles culminating in a position as a Quotation Specialist, where responsibilities included managing a team and developing a new quoting system. Kathy holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Indiana State University.
