Jessica Buchanan

Jessica Buchanan is a Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG) with the US Navy since June 2022 and previously held the rank of Ensign (O-1). Jessica’s professional experience includes a role as Planner/Scheduler II at Vigor, LLC, where responsibilities involved developing and maintaining production schedules for commercial and Navy vessels. Previous positions include 3rd Assistant Engineer with Otto Candies, LLC, and Engine Cadet roles with American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier Group, Military Sealift Command, and Maersk Line, Limited. Jessica’s education includes a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering & Shipyard Management from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and ongoing pursuit of a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Project Management from the Florida Institute of Technology.
