Romain Gagnaire

Romain Gagnaire has a diverse work experience in various companies. Romain started their career as an intern at Crédit Agricole Technologies et Services, where they developed a JEE Web-application to help teams handle databases. Romain then had an internship at lojelis, where they set up an entire software factory from scratch.

After their internships, Romain joined Sport Heroes Group as a Software Engineer, where they created micro-services from scratch and handled the DevOps process. Romain also implemented a commit convention and automated the generation of changelog and releases from commits.

Later, Romain worked at ViiBE Communication as a Software Engineer and Lead backend/infra developer. Romain was responsible for technical expertise in areas like DevOps, NodeJS, and Redis. Romain achieved significant accomplishments like creating automation playbooks using Ansible and promoting a strict linting to enforce code consistency.

Currently, Romain is working at Praxedo as a Technical Lead, starting in 2023.

Romain Gagnaire's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Lycée Ambroise Brugière de Clermont-Ferrand and obtained a Baccalauréat Scientifique degree in Natural Sciences in 2009. Romain then went on to pursue further education at IUT de Clermont-Ferrand from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a DUT (Technical degree) in Computer Science. Romain continued their studies at Université de Technologie de Troyes from 2013 to 2016, completing an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, they simultaneously attended Université du Québec à Chicoutimi from 2015 to 2016, obtaining a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering.
