Mark Benthin

Mark Benthin has over 30 years of experience in the technology and healthcare industries. Mark began their career in 1990 as a Software Engineer at Nortel Networks, where they were part of a networked software engineering team that developed multiple new products. In 1995, they became a Consultant and led the development of early multimedia and internet business and consumer applications. From 1997 to 2003, they were the Principal at Media Renaissance, a business to business Internet application provider. During this time, they developed profile and personalization solutions for telecommunications, consumer healthcare, and consumer e-commerce.

In 2003, Mark joined Indegene Aptilon as the Senior VP, COO & Member of the Board. Mark was responsible for leading the strategic development of the company and overseeing all commercialization activities. Mark also negotiated multimillion dollar agreements with leading pharmaceutical companies and healthcare publishers. In 2012, they became a Board Member at DMD Marketing Corp., an innovative service provider for pharmaceutical, pharmaceutical marketing companies, digital advertising agencies, and medical device companies.

In 2014, Mark joined OneTreePlanted.org as a Board Member. In 2015, they founded VIIHEALTH, INC., a customer engagement and marketing solutions company dedicated to helping Life Sciences and Healthcare companies to drive deeper customer engagement, amplify marketing impact, and accelerate business performance. In 2020, they founded eventZoo, a cloud platform that delivers on the promise of virtual and hybrid event experiences.

Mark Benthin obtained a Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from McMaster University between 1986 and 1990. Mark has also attended McGill University, but it is unknown if they have obtained a degree or what field of study they pursued.
