Antti Lehikoinen

Antti Lehikoinen is a Consulting Engineer at Smeklab, specializing in the design and optimization of electric motors with a focus on traction, aviation, and high-speed applications since July 2017. In addition to this role, Antti serves as a Research Fellow at the HIECS Center of Excellence, coordinating research on high-speed electromechanical energy conversion systems. Antti is also the Lead Electromagnetic Engineer at Teraloop Oy and a Principal Analyst at Viimatech Digital Oy, where efforts are directed towards developing condition monitoring solutions for electric motors and centrifugal pump systems. Previous positions include postdoctoral research roles at Aalto University and Tampere University of Technology, along with research work at Aalto University School of Science and technology. Antti holds a Doctor of Science (Tech.) degree in Electromechanics from Aalto University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field.
