Rick Schaeffer

Rick Schaeffer has had a diverse work experience throughout their career. Starting in 1986, they served as the President of RL Schaefer Group, Inc. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as the Managing Director of Film, Television, and Sports for the State of Maryland. In 2007, they became an Adjunct Professor in the Johns Hopkins MBA Fellows Program. In 2009, they took on the role of Chief Relationship Officer at ViiMed, where they focused on strategic alliances and client relations. In 2016, they organized and led a trip to Rome, Italy for the University of Michigan football team and staff. Rick also served as Senior Counsel to the Founders of the Alliance of American Football from 2017, offering legal and strategic advice. Currently, they work as the cohost of the Inside Football with Bill Polian Podcast for Schaeffer Media.

Rick Schaeffer holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Case Western Reserve University and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
