The historic pharmacy Swan served locals for over a hundred years in the corner of Lapinlahdenkatu and Eerikinkatu. After carefully renovating around the irreplaceable jugend interior, the pharmacy has now been turned into a wine bar.

Now, finally, Apotek is open. We will operate with radically reduced capacity indoors for our guests to be able to practice social distancing.

Head Chef Ville Rainio offers a selection of entrées coupled with diverse small bites complementing the wine list – carefully selected cheese, charcuterie, patês, not to forget various vegetarian dishes.

Our wine selection comprises of carefully selected quality wines mainly from European grower-producers. The selection focuses on true artisan wines made by independent family-owned wineries. Most of the producers farm their grapes organically.

We care more about the content in the bottle than a flamboyant look or an attractive name.

You can order small dishes throughout the night or compile a longer set menu. The dishes can easily be shared with the whole table should you feel like it.
