Derek Apanovitch

Derek Apanovitch is an experienced executive currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Viirtue, Inc., a leading provider of white label communication solutions for the managed service provider market, since March 2024. Derek has held various prestigious positions, including Principal at Thoronder LLC since September 2019 and Chief Operating Officer at Osmosis.org from Elsevier, where the company was acquired by Elsevier and backed by notable investors. Derek's previous roles also include Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of TotalSDS, President of Ultimate Medical Academy, and Vice President of Marketing at Health Benefits Direct Corporation. Derek commenced a legal career as a Corporate Attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell and gained judicial experience as a Judicial Clerk for the US Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Derek holds an MBA in Health Industry Management and Accounting from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, a JD from Duke University School of Law, and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
