Shmulik Kaplan is the VP of R&D at viisights. Shmulik has over 9 years of experience in leading and managing R&D teams. Prior to joining viisights, Shmulik was a data manager at Primary Data Inc and a team leader at Dell.

Shmulik’s experience with file system structure, manipulation, and virtualization has been essential in developing viisights’ innovative edge detection technology. Their work has improved the performance of the company’s algorithms and has helped to make viisights a market leader in video analytics.

Shmulik Kaplan is a mathematician and computer scientist who earned their Ph. D. from Bar-Ilan University.

Their manager is Asaf Birenzvieg, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Shiri Gordon - Director, Algorithm, Ronen Sadan - VP, Marketing, and Menashe Rothschild - Co-Founder & CPO.
