Ama Appiah

Ama Appiah is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in pharmaceutical care, particularly in the fields of HIV and sexual health. Currently serving as Regional Medical Director for Patient Engagement at ViiV Healthcare and European Scientific Advisor, Ama also provides consultancy as a Pharmacist Consultant at Metro Centre. With a strong background in medical advising, including roles at MSD and AbbVie, Ama has developed expertise in virology and HIV treatment. Volunteer mentorship with CHIVA Africa highlights commitment to training health professionals in South Africa. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of East London and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Sunderland.
