Dr. Emilie Elliot MD PhD MA BA MRCP DipHIV DipGUM DFSRH serves as the Global Director and Medical Monitor in R&D at ViiV Healthcare since September 2020, also holding the position of Global Medical Affairs Director for Cabotegravir. Prior experience includes roles as an HIV/GUM Specialist Registrar at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from October 2018 to September 2019 and Clinical Research Physician at Saint Stephen's AIDS Trust from September 2014 to October 2018, with a focus on HIV pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacogenetics. Dr. Elliot completed core medical training at Barts Health NHS Trust and academic foundation training at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, following advanced studies culminating in a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Liverpool and a Doctor of Medicine from King's College London.
