Matthieu Wagner

Matthieu Wagner is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President and General Manager for France and Belgium at ViiV Healthcare since June 2023. Prior to this, Matthieu held various senior leadership roles at GSK from 2009 to June 2023, including Vice President and Head of the Specialty Business Unit and the Oncology Business Unit (interim). With a robust background in global marketing and strategic management, Matthieu has successfully led marketing initiatives for Rare Diseases and vaccines, achieving significant sales growth and overseeing comprehensive brand planning and promotional activities. Matthieu's experience also includes pivotal roles in global marketing for hepatitis and travel vaccines, as well as oncology and respiratory sales management. Educational credentials include an MS in Management of Biotech Companies from Grenoble Graduate School of Business and an MSc in Biotechnology from Ecole Supérieure de Biotechnologie de Strasbourg.
