Sonia Patel

Sonia Patel is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a focus on HIV and HCV management. Currently serving as a Principal Medical Science Liaison at ViiV Healthcare since August 2019, Sonia previously held roles as a Medical Science Liaison. From June 2010 to July 2019, Sonia worked as an HIV/HCV Clinical Pharmacist at The Ruth M. Rothstein CORE Center/Cook County Health and was an HIV Clinical Pharmacist/Clinical Assistant Professor at The Ruth M. Rothstein CORE Center/University of Illinois College of Pharmacy from July 2006 to June 2010. Sonia holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Illinois Chicago, earned between 2000 and 2004, and attended Benedictine University from 1998 to 2000.
