Norm Phipps has a strong background in telecommunications and finance. Norm is currently the President and CEO of viiz communications, a position they have held since 2022.
Prior to their current role, Phipps had a long tenure at BSG Billing Services Group. Norm started in 2003 as the CFO and later became the CEO in 2012. Under their leadership, BSG achieved significant success, including a $500 million market capitalization, $300+ million in revenue, and 400+ employees. Phipps also spearheaded strategic acquisitions, such as the purchase of Connection Services to expand into the European wireless market.
Before BSG, Phipps was involved in the telecommunications industry as a consultant and shareholder at Avery Communications, Inc. Norm played a key role in acquiring HOLD Billing Services and consolidating operations during the formation of Billing Services Group.
Additionally, Phipps had experience in the manufacturing sector as a shareholder and senior leader at LogiMetrics, Inc. During their time there, they structured investments and negotiated the sale of a controlling interest to L-3 Communications Corporation.
Earlier in their career, Phipps co-founded CP Capital Partners, a family investment office. Norm oversaw investments in various industries and managed the entire investment process, including screening, due diligence, negotiation, and exit strategies.

Norm Phipps holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Lehigh University. Norm also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from The King's College, with a major in Business Administration & Economics and a minor in Mathematics.
