Virali Shah, MSc., PEng

Virali Shah has a diverse work experience in the engineering field, starting with their role as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary from 2011 to 2013. During this time, they supervised and mentored laboratory sessions for engineering students, provided guidance on engineering projects, and graded assignments and exams.

In 2014, Virali worked as a Hazardous Location Product Certifier at CSA Group, where they independently verified the methods of protection used in various industries for safety and compliance with engineering standards. Virali Shah, researched and interpreted CSA, UL, and IEC standards to ensure regulatory compliance.

Later in 2014, Virali joined ILF Consulting Engineers as a Junior Telecommunication Engineer, where they gained experience in the telecommunication industry and worked on various projects.

Since 2015, Virali has been working at viiz as a Voice System Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Senior Voice Engineer in early 2018. In these roles, they have been involved in developing and maintaining voice systems, utilizing their expertise in voice engineering.

Virali Shah, MSc., PEng attended St Anne's High School in Borivali, Mumbai, where they obtained their SSC. From 2006 to 2010, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Telecommunication at Parshvanath College of Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Wireless Networking at the University of Calgary from 2011 to 2013.
