Jose Montelongo

Jose Montelongo has a strong background in PLC programming, automation, and electrical work. Jose currently holds the position of Sr. Field Service Engineer at Viken Detection since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a PLC Programmer at New Century Electric Controls & Automation LLC from January 2021 to December 2021. Jose also has experience as a PLC Programmer and Automation Technician at Coonrod Electric Co from April 2018 to January 2021. Jose Montelongo has a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Jose attended ITT Technical Institute-Houston North, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Additionally, Jose received specialized training in Fiber Optic technology from FOA Fiber Optics Technician, specializing in splicing and testing. Jose also completed a program in PLC Programming/Controls at NFI Automation.
