Liya Stanikene

Liya Stanikene has extensive work experience in software quality assurance engineering. Liya is currently employed at Viken Detection since 2021 as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Computrition, Inc. from 2016 to 2021 in the same role. At Computrition, they followed Agile principles, executed test plans for stories within the current Sprint iteration, and performed manual software testing on all software releases. Before Computrition, Liya worked at Conexant Systems Inc. from 2003 to 2016 as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Their responsibilities included identifying and resolving issues, managing firmware builds and regression testing, developing test plans and test cases, managing defect databases, and collaborating with customers and engineers on issue verification and tracking. Liya also tested cloud imaging technologies and participated in Apple AirPrint certification process. Liya's earliest work experience was at Iris Graphics Inc (a Creo Company) from 1997 to 2003, where they served as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Their role involved developing strategies for ghosting computers, providing application and hardware support, evaluating and selecting defect tracking and reporting systems, writing test cases, and testing software and firmware releases.

Liya Stanikene has a diverse education history. Liya attended the Boston Computer School, where they obtained a degree in Power Builder and SQL. Liya then enrolled in North Shore Community College to study Databases. Liya continued their education at Northeastern University, where they took courses in C Programming I, C Programming II, and Programming in C++. Lastly, they attended Šiauliu Universitetas and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pedagogic and Methodology in Teaching.
